As we all know, the Dandong 4130 chronograph automatic movement is used in high-end homage watches. This watch uses the Dandong 4801, an upgraded edition of 4130. These two movements are essentially the same except for the self-winding mechanism, of which the 4130 is double-directional winding, but the 4801 is single-directional winding. From now on, Dandong Watch Factory will only make the 4801. The old 4130 is phased out.
This 4801 automatic runs stably at a high vibration of 28800 per hour. The sub-dial at 3 o’clock counts minutes with a maximum of 30 minutes. The sub-dial at 6 o’clock counts seconds per minute. The sub-dial at 9 o’clock counts hours with a maximum of 12 hours. A central long second hand is sweeping across the dial to count the seconds. The upper right button is pressed to start/stop the chronograph function. The lower right button is pressed to reset after having stopped the chronograph function. The crown is pulled out to set the time. Meanwhile, the small second hand in the 6 o’clock sub-dial stops due to the hacking function.
