Classic Shanghai 611 reissue diamond pattern dial hand-winding mechanical watch

They give you no notice whatsoever about where it is or what it is doing. To my surprise,they arrived in just over 2 weeks and were Very well packaged. I like being able to see my orders and everything in on my account. Feel: This watch is tiny, by far the smallest watch I have, since i have skinny wrists, this works. The face looks nice and the watch has a heavy/quality feel to it. The fine details on the face are not all that amazing, the lettering and everything is just not as sharp or quality as I have seen in Sea-Gull, the diamond markers are painted on and it is obvious(this is authentic) the guts are great but at very close inspection, the face is the weak point of this watch, even though the face design(concept) is so beautiful. just needs better execution. Note: after wearing this for about a month, the tick sound is louder then my others but I like the sound, it is relaxing so that is a plus. I have also gotten a lot more comfortable with the size, This is going into my daily wear cycle along with my Vostok and Sieko 5. I still am not a fan of the indices being painted and not actual pieces, but it is a re-issue of an old school watch...... Movement: This 611 reissue’s movement is Shanghai 7120 manual hand-winding mechanical. The basic specification of the Standard wristwatch calibre is a minimum of 17 jewels, 21,600 bph escapement, a minimum of 40 hours power reserve and average rate within +/-30 seconds per day. Face: Sword-shaped gold hour and minute hands, Red-tipped second hand, Shining silver bezel, Big 3, 6, 9, 12, and diamond patterned hours, Diamond checker pattern around the dial, Gold ring matches gold hands, gold hours, Brushed silver white dial. Note: I have noticed that the gold hands are dirty, this is a QC thing from the factory, it does concern me a little but it is something only the wearer is going to notice. Glass: GLASS, it is domed so that helps the look, A LOT. Flat would have really made this watch lose appeal. that was a good move. Backplate: Twist back with rubber seal

This watch is absurdly nice for the price being asked. Mine came reasonably quickly and is keeping great time. My favorite feature of the appearance is the gold rimming around the case interior, in almost every light it casts a warm glow on to the dial giving the watch a feeling of autumn.
